Laurel teen Ellie Johnston was recognized by Governor Gianforte for her ethical decision during a Thanksgiving elk hunt in northeastern Montana.

She made the careful choice during the Governor’s Youth Hunting Story Contest to honor wildlife conservation and responsible hunting.
