- ➤ Gas prices in Montana remained steady Monday, Jan. 12 at $2.75 per gallon—reported by GasBuddy.com—and prices were 11¢ lower than a month ago and 2.8¢ lower than a year ago, with a low of $2.52 and a high of $3.39. KTVQ
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A mild winter in Montana is leading to increased bear sightings and conflicts occurring later than usual, noted Daniel McHugh, a bear specialist from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Local residents are advised to secure trash and bird feeders and to report bear activity. KULR8
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Montana Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Advisory Council has launched a sponsored license plate with proceeds supporting efforts to reduce missing Indigenous persons in Montana. Residents can help raise awareness under an initiative by the Montana Department of Justice. KULR8
