GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Billings residents had their water turned off Monday for unpaid bills, and additional disconnections are scheduled for Jan. 19, Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 based on each billing cycle. City officials said customers must pay their full balance to have service restored (MT Statute 7-13-4305). KTVQ
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ DPHHS submitted a request to recertify Montana State Hospital in Warm Springs near Anaconda after nearly four years without the federal certification, and it plans to revise its budget for $233 million in rural health funds while adding new staff, with improvements expected in coming months. - ➤ Colstrip Hospital District received a $120,000 grant from Montana DOC to upgrade its electronic records management — the funding will help link providers with Billings Clinic and Logan Health for quicker access and reduced redundant testing. KULR8
