- ➤ Rimrock Mall took out a loan to wire $1,047,144.95 to pay its 2024 property tax lien (including penalties, interest and 2025 taxes) in Yellowstone County. Billings Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Montana cattle producers said Tuesday they want mandatory country-of-origin labels on beef packaging to inform consumers and boost domestic beef premiums. They plan to seek support from lawmakers for adding the labeling to the 2025-2026 Farm Bill — a move to help ranchers compete. KTVQ
- ➤ Starting Sunday, Feb. 1, TSA will add a fee of $45 for travelers without a Real ID, passport, or military ID at Billings-Logan International Airport (staff advise arriving early to allow extra time for verification). KTVQ
