- ➤ Marilyn Campbell, president of Billings Senior Citizens Inc., hosts senior gatherings in the basement of King of Glory Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays and advocates for a permanent West End center with a kitchen and parking. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is asking community members to help solve a poaching case after a bull elk was illegally killed near Horsethief Road, 13 miles west of Roundup between Jan 30 and Feb 1; anyone with information may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000. KULR8
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Montana homeowners can lower rising property taxes by applying for state relief programs. The Homestead Rate Reduction Program (requiring seven months of residency) has a March 1 deadline while income-based assistance and an Elderly Homeowner Credit must be applied for by April 15. KULR8
