Columbus Public Schools said a student was hospitalized with bacterial Haemophilus influenzae meningitis over the weekend — an illness that spreads through close contact like coughing, sharing drinks, or living in close quarters.
Families are urged to remind children to cover their mouths when coughing and wash their hands regularly.

Young skaters from the Rimrock Figure Skating Club took part in a Learn-to-Curl event on Sunday, Feb.
