- ➤ A 10-year-old Billings girl helped nurse a baby goat with severe nerve damage back to health at a dairy outside Livingston on Tuesday by applying lessons from her animal anatomy workshops. The baby goat is now able to stand and run, offering it a hopeful second chance at life. KTVQ

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Billings Public Schools saw 140 students drop out last year, compared to 333 the previous year. The district reports a steady decline in dropouts. Billings Gazette

- ➤ Tuesday night, Billings City Council considered selling the historic Babcock Theater for $1 to Art House, with the sale including $100,000 for a roof deductible and $500,000 for repairs so the 750-seat venue can be restored. - ➤ After 17 structure fires in January — the highest in three years — Billings firefighters now begin contract negotiations with the city today as their current contract expires June 30, and the talks will address pay and benefits with upcoming changes to property-tax revenue in view. KTVQ
