A vehicle teetering on a steep drop in Yellowstone County was rescued in a coordinated effort by Montana Highway Patrol + Blue Creek Volunteer Firefighters and sheriff's deputies, allowing EMS to safely extract the driver and Hansers Wrecker to pull the vehicle back onto the road.
The federal government will delay finalizing new grizzly bear regulations until the end of the year, leaving Montana ranchers uneasy about livestock safety.
Rancher Trina Jo Bradley said management uncertainty creates stress and limits protection options—while expert Chris Servheen expects little change in bear practices.
