- ➤ The Billings Human Relations Commission hosted a community discussion on Wednesday night at the Billings Public Library to teach respectful dialogue using the Dignity Index & real-life examples. Former City Council member Danny Choriki led the talk to help improve everyday interactions. KULR8
- ➤ The COVID-19 Memorial Plaque Dedication will be held on April 17, 2026, from noon to 1:00 pm at 316 North 26th Street to honor those lost and the frontline workers; former Mayor Cole and others will offer brief remarks before a moment of silence and plaque unveiling with light refreshments. - ➤ Crews continued work on the Amend Recreation Center and Signal Peak Ice Arena near Amend Park on Thursday afternoon. The recreation center is set to open in June as the project nears completion. Billings Gazette

- ➤ Mrs. Miller, a kindergarten teacher at Burlington Elementary, was honored today by the One Class at a Time program for her creative teaching methods. The award included a $500 grant from the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools and a $150 gift card from City Brew Coffee — tokens recognizing her commitment to building a lifelong love of learning. - ➤ Elder Grove Elementary raised almost $80,000 from local donations for its reading curriculum after a mill levy failure in 2025, reflecting a growing statewide trend toward crowdfunding — a strategy increasingly used by schools.
