- ➤ Billings Public Schools held an encore performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat yesterday at Lincoln Center Auditorium at 7:30 p.m., and today residents can join a 10K race starting at Centennial Ice Arena at 9:30 a.m. Residents may also attend a free open house at Choice Aviation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 2390 Overlook Drive and watch a Fire vs Police Charity Hockey Game at Centennial Ice Arena at 6 p.m.—donations will help fund the Ramsey Keller Memorial fund. - ➤ A Billings accountant, Valary Nichole Obert, has been charged with felony embezzlement exceeding $10,000—she is accused of stealing about $124,200 from the Billings Home Builders Association by falsifying financial records during her 11 years as office manager. Billings Gazette

- ➤ Montana lawmakers approved a version of HB 2 that will raise tribal college funding by increasing the payment for non-Native students from $3,280 to $4,183. - ➤ Erin Grummett, the band director at Will James Middle School, received the 'One Class at a Time' award—she was honored with a $500 grant and a $150 gift card from local partners for her inspiring music teaching. - ➤ The City of Billings Public Works said that traffic on 2nd Ave N between N 33rd St and N 29th St will be impacted from Monday, April 7 to Monday, April 14 as crews replace an old cast iron pipe with a new PVC pipe—drivers should follow posted signs and drive carefully—in the affected area.
