- ➤ A Lending Tree study finds that raising a child for 18 years now costs over $303,000, averaging nearly $17,000 per year, & has increased by more than $5,700 from last year. In Montana, cost estimates of around $293,926 mean families may spend roughly $66,000 more than in 2023. KTVQ
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Billings nonprofit Gratitude in Action will convert a former Coca-Cola warehouse near First Ave South and State St into a Campus for Change — a facility with recovery housing, workforce training and social enterprise. The 51,000 sqft center will host 29 partners to aid people moving from crisis to stability. KTVQ
- ➤ Intermountain Health completed its expansion at Yellowstone Medical Center to boost access for more diabetes patients. The renovation increased staff from eight to 12 providers and exam rooms from 19 to 31 while adding telehealth options, all made possible by a generous donation. KULR8
