The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Montana is ongoing statewide.

It began in Glasgow on April 26, with Laurel’s leg on May 11 as officers carried the Flame of Hope from (215 W 1st St to 3975 King Ave West) and will finish in Billings on May 14.

Billings' Magic City Jet Rally and Fun Fly runs Friday and Saturday at 8223 Grand Avenue starting at 8 a.m., with turbines and electric jets reaching near 200 mph.

The Mustangs Flying Club hosts the free event featuring remote-controlled aircraft and pilot registration for $20, with camping and food available.

The Montana Special Olympics brought athletes, coaches and families to Billings on Monday, boosting local business and community spirit.

This is the third consecutive year the state games are held here before shifting to Missoula next summer.
