- ➤ Billings is launching a new plan for parks, recreation and public lands amid a budget shortfall; Parks and Recreation Director Gavin Woltjer said the strategy will build—promote—and activate projects that will then be maintained. Billings Gazette
- ➤ Billings officials unveiled the FY-2026 budget today that shows $457 million in revenue and $438 million in expenses—reflecting a $28 million difference from last year due to changes in property tax laws. The preliminary plan will be adopted in June and finalized in August and includes cuts to some positions, $500,000 in police savings, and shifts in state and federal funds. KULR8
