- ➤ Victor Anthony Adams, 36, pleaded not guilty to a felony intimidation charge and a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge after he placed a suspicious package outside Old Chicago on May 18 — he admitted to leaving the box and a cardboard cutout near the restaurant and his next court date is set for July 24. - ➤ Medical students at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine held a mass casualty rockfall simulation at Phipps Park on Thursday to practice trauma assessment and emergency care under pressure—improving their communication and decision-making skills for real-life emergencies. KTVQ
- ➤ Lockwood High School choir finished the year with a touching concert after teacher Quentin Q Staton was re-diagnosed with head, neck and throat cancer nearly two months ago—he has been undergoing chemo and radiation therapy. Staton joined his students on stage to help direct one song and said he plans to return to the classroom this fall. KTVQ

- ➤ Billings Police said they will add more traffic patrols this Memorial Day weekend to catch speeding, reckless driving and driving under the influence+ the extra patrols are meant to lower injuries on the roads. Officers remind drivers to get a sober ride if drinking+ the department wants everyone to have a safe holiday. KULR8
- ➤ Pompeys Pillar National Park reopened yesterday for the season; limited staffing may keep the visitor center closed + visitors can still enjoy walking the trails during daylight hours as the park runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays. KULR8
- ➤ Congressman Ryan Zinke said he helped remove a part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that would have sold over 450,000 acres of public land—he plans to vote for the bill that offers tax cuts, Medicaid and SNAP and thanked Speaker Johnson for listening to Montanans. - ➤ Riverstone Health hosted a Women's Health Fair in downtown Billings today — local groups offered resources on breast and cervical cancer screenings and financial help for women. Amy Queen encouraged women over 40 to call for assistance with screening costs. KULR8
- ➤ Billings now has the state’s first Safe Haven Baby Box that gives parents in crisis a safe way to surrender their newborn without judgment. The box is at the Lockwood Fire District station and will be dedicated on June 4 (it cost about $15,000 to install) as officials hope it fills an important gap in crisis care. KTVQ
