- ➤ A fire hydrant erupted last night on the 3500 block of Cook Avenue in Billings, flooding the street and forcing neighbors to manage water damage. Residents say the flooding is linked to an old road dip—road modifications that created a persistent water trap—and they hope the city will regrade the street after Memorial Day. KULR8

- ➤ Montana lawmakers introduced 42 agriculture bills during the session, including House Bill 390 that would allow farmers to repair their own equipment but did not pass; Montana farmers, led by the Montana Farmers Union, plan to seek federal support for change in future sessions—optimism remains for another run. - ➤ Billings experienced five water main breaks over Memorial Day weekend at spots including Gabel Road, 30th, 4th and 13th, and the 3500 block of Cook Avenue—causing flooding, water outages and some road closures.
