- ➤ On Saturday morning, Billings Kiwanis held its 40th annual bike rodeo at Blue Creek Bike Park where 140 free bikes fixed by Pedal United helped kids ride safely with helmets fitted by Billings Clinic—club president Hans Abbey said local partners made the event possible and a Fishing Jamboree will be held on June 15 at Riverfront Park to teach kids how to fish. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Billings fire crews responded to a duplex fire at 2720 Fourth Avenue South (around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday) that sent two residents by ambulance, one to a hospital for smoke inhalation, and caused heavy damage to one unit while the adjacent unit sustained minor smoke damage; one witness said (he saw a man running from the scene) and the cause is under investigation. - ➤ Billings crews are chip sealing streets using oil and fresh gravel to extend road life and save local funds — the work costs three to four times less than a traditional overlay and begins as summer changes the weather. KTVQ

- ➤ Over 100 youth soccer teams from Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota played at the Scheels 406 Cup at Amend Park on Saturday, drawing over 1,000 players.
