Bob Tambo, the artist behind the Heart & Sole Run designs, recovered from a February stroke and will show his artwork at the 46th annual race on Saturday, June 14 which will benefit local causes such as the Billings YMCA Annual Campaign & Billings TrailNet.

NonStop Local Billings has sponsored the race for nearly 15 years and his art comeback reflects his strong commitment to local culture.

On Saturday evening, a Billings woman narrowly escaped a burning South Side duplex after a stranger named Joe Adams knocked on her door—reportedly saving her life—as police arrested a man on an arson charge while three people were treated for smoke inhalation and one cat died.

Grand Avenue reopened on May 31 after the Billings Police Department finished its investigation into a serious motorcycle crash at the roundabout at Grand Ave and 36th St W (the crash occurred at 3:00 a.m. and caused serious injuries while eastbound traffic was closed until 9:10 a.m.).

A theft at the High Sierra Dog Park on Skyway Drive left one gazebo missing its wooden windbreak — the stolen fence along with all its hardware and two by fours cost $1,200 and has raised fears that further parts of the park might be targeted.
