- ➤ A Yellowstone County jury convicted Bryan Leigh Anderson of raping a blind woman at her home (The Heights) and robbing her, and he now faces up to life in prison on three counts of rape and one burglary charge. Billings Gazette

- ➤ Billings West High School seniors took a nostalgic trip to Arrowhead Elementary as the school year ended. The seniors high-fived current students and recalled past memories with former teachers — marking the fourth annual tradition. KULR8
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Montana’s Amber Alert system helps law enforcement share quick information when a child 17 or younger is abducted and at risk of serious harm — the system is only used when a child faces imminent danger and excludes cases like runaways or custody issues. Brian Frost of the Montana Department of Justice explained that no Amber Alerts have been issued this year while more local Missing Endangered Persons Advisories have been sent out. KULR8
- ➤ Village Inn removed its old sign from its Central Avenue building earlier this week because city officials said it was too close to a neighbor's property (the sign came from its former Grand Avenue location) and owner Britt Smith said she will find a new spot that meets the code. KTVQ
- ➤ Montana will put in place a new child car seat law on Oct. 1 — the law lays out which car seat is needed for each age group to help keep children safe in cars. KTVQ
