- ➤ Billings School District 2 raised pay for teachers by increasing starting salaries to $50,100 and the average pay to $64,100 each year plus offering up to $92,801 for experienced educators. The district balanced its budget by cutting department funds and opening charter schools while signing a two-year contract that boosted raises for veteran teachers and support staff. Billings Gazette
