A woman from a nursing home was arrested in South Dakota for custodial interference and a father-son pair stopped a gun theft at Billings Heights Walmart on June 4. KTVQ
- ➤ Today, a Crow Agency woman named Micah Taryn Faith LaForge pleaded guilty to making false statements during an investigation of a shooting that left a victim dead at IHS Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital on January 18; her false report delayed key evidence collection for more than 15 hours. She faces up to 5 years in prison — a $250,000 fine and 3 years of supervised release, with sentencing pending. KULR8

- ➤ Montana cattle producers can file claims to get a share of an $83.5 million settlement with JBS Foods after a lawsuit said price fixing kept their earnings low since June 2015—producers must file by Sept.15 to keep their names secret. KTVQ

- ➤ The City of Billings is asking residents to take a public survey on expanding the 21st Street underpass because its eight-foot clearance stops large vehicles and emergency services from using the route—causing issues with drainage and pedestrian access.
