  • Hot Wheels Monster Trucks performed at MetraPark on Saturday — 36 junk cars from local recycling plants were prepped for demolition before being crushed and jumped over by the trucks. The event, titled Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire, featured seven trucks executing stunts including donuts, jumps and wheelies — and VIP events offered autographs and meet-and-greets for fans.  KULR8
  • Lockwood Fire Department has partnered with Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter to offer free 24/7 microchip scanning for pets in the community.  Billings Gazette
  • On Saturday morning in Laurel, about 80 people gathered at the Montana State Firefighters Memorial to honor three fallen firefighters—David Lambers, John Raisler, and Julianna Turchetti. Retired Lockwood Fire Chief John Staley led the event as the names were unveiled, increasing the memorial total to 84.  KTVQ

  • Treasure House Records 406 opened yesterday in Absarokee during the Montana BBQ Cook-Off, offering vinyl records, cassettes, and A-tracks sourced from a Billings collector’s estate sale — retired teacher Debbie Skiles said the store will operate on Fridays and Saturdays this summer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and plans to launch an online storefront soon.  KTVQ
