Hot Wheels Monster Trucks performed at MetraPark on Saturday — 36 junk cars from local recycling plants were prepped for demolition before being crushed and jumped over by the trucks.

The event, titled Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live: Glow-N-Fire, featured seven trucks executing stunts including donuts, jumps and wheelies — and VIP events offered autographs and meet-and-greets for fans.

Lockwood Fire Department has partnered with Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter to offer free 24/7 microchip scanning for pets in the community.

On Saturday morning in Laurel, about 80 people gathered at the Montana State Firefighters Memorial to honor three fallen firefighters—David Lambers, John Raisler, and Julianna Turchetti.
