- ➤ At the inaugural MMIP conference held on June 12th at the Eagle Seeker Community Center, families, advocates, and law enforcement met to start healing deep divides—organizers offered search-and-rescue training and wellness workshops. Warrior Women for Justice hosted talks from Yellowstone and Bighorn county sheriffs and addressed challenges in finding justice for missing and murdered Indigenous persons. Billings Gazette
- ➤ Billings Parks and Rec launched the free Rec 2 U program on Monday at nine parks over five days to offer activities for kids and families. - ➤ A Clarks Fork Valley EMS ambulance crashed on Highway 310 between Fromberg and Bridger at about 3:30 p.m. on Monday while it was responding to a call—two drivers, from the ambulance and a pickup truck, were taken to a hospital in Billings and traffic was delayed for hours. KTVQ

- ➤ Fake Facebook posts in local groups are tricking Billings residents with false grocery giveaway offers and missing contact details. Local IT expert Tiffany Lucero from Technology by Design said residents should check posts that rush them to act fast—change passwords and review accounts if a link is clicked—and be wary of posts missing clear details. - ➤ In April, the federal government cancelled Billings' $1M urban forestry grant meant for low-income neighborhoods (DEI concerns led to the termination) and the city is appealing the decision. - ➤ An out-of-state traveler with measles passed through Billings Logan International Airport on May 26, and RiverStone Health began tracing contacts after learning of a positive test on June 1 and receiving notification on June 16. Health officials ask anyone who visited the baggage claim or car rental area between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. on May 26 and later became sick to call 406+247+3396. KTVQ
