- ➤ At the inaugural MMIP conference held on June 12th at the Eagle Seeker Community Center, families, advocates, and law enforcement met to start healing deep divides—organizers offered search-and-rescue training and wellness workshops. Warrior Women for Justice hosted talks from Yellowstone and Bighorn county sheriffs and addressed challenges in finding justice for missing and murdered Indigenous persons. Billings Gazette
- ➤ Billings Parks and Rec launched the free Rec 2 U program on Monday at nine parks over five days to offer activities for kids and families. - ➤ In April, the federal government cancelled Billings' $1M urban forestry grant meant for low-income neighborhoods (DEI concerns led to the termination) and the city is appealing the decision.
