- ➤ Vehicle break-ins spiked in Columbus and Stillwater County over the past few months as criminals stole valuables and firearms from unlocked cars and two suspects were taken into custody on Thursday while residents tightened security measures and officials urged everyone to lock vehicles+homes+to deter further thefts. - ➤ Billings police responded to a suspicious death on the 6400 block of Southern Bluffs around 10:50 a.m. on July 4 when they discovered the body of a 37-year-old woman—detectives ruled her death a homicide and cleared the scene—and said there is no threat to the public while the investigation continues.
