- ➤ A Montana Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a high-speed chase Sunday north of Billings after a suspect collided with a semi on Highway 3, causing the vehicle to roll, catch fire and spark a grass fire that shut down traffic—emergency crews worked to contain the flames and investigate the scene. - ➤ Billings Police investigated the murder of a 37-year-old woman on Friday morning at Southern Bluffs and identified a suspect who fled her residence in her vehicle before being arrested in Fremont County, Wyoming (he now faces charges for deliberate homicide and tampering with physical evidence) and awaits extradition to Yellowstone County.
