- ➤ A Montana Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a high-speed chase that ended when a suspect’s vehicle collided with a semi-truck near Acton on July 6—he has been released from the hospital and Highway 3 remains closed, which is causing travel delays. KULR8

- ➤ Sullivan, a Billings resident and championship boxer, allegedly killed his girlfriend as his daughter slept—he was arrested in Fremont County on DUI and open container charges. Billings Gazette
- ➤ A Montana Highway Patrol trooper is recovering after a high-speed chase north of Billings on Sunday ended when a suspect's car collided with a semi-truck, sparking a roadside wildfire and causing the suspect’s death. Billings police identified 40-year-old Anthony Ray Sullivan as the suspect in a West End homicide from July 4 while Custer County crews made progress on the Miller Creek Fire that burned 560 acres and destroyed several structures including a mobile home, a camper, and an outbuilding.
