  • In Lockwood, a RV owner offered a $20K reward for tips to recover a trailer stolen in June after a man allegedly provided a bad check and the investigation continues. Two local nonprofits merged to form Allies in Aging to support seniors while Billings Logan International Airport was voted seventh best in the country for stress-free travel.  KTVQ
  • The Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market will open this Saturday for its 40th year and feature over 90 local vendors selling fresh produce plus locally raised meats in downtown Billings. The market will run from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Sky Point area every Saturday through October 4 with food trucks on site.  KULR8

CRIME NEWS

  • A Billings teen pleaded guilty to deliberate homicide for the Oct. 28 shooting death of a Rocky Mountain College football player from Florida. Prosecutors will recommend a 75-year prison term as his sentencing hearing is scheduled for a later date while he stays in custody.  KTVQ

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Yellowstone Public Radio may lose $270,000 if Congress approves cuts to the CPB budget + lawmakers are expected to decide soon. The station serves 30 counties in Montana + 4 in Wyoming and will look for new funding to keep its programs on air.  KTVQ
