- ➤ Last Monday, Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte and the Department of Labor and Industry announced a new $4 million teacher apprenticeship program that will start in 2026—aimed at serving 40 school districts including 12 tribal communities. Billings Public Schools is launching the Billings Teach program to help support staff earn teaching certification, with applications accepted until Aug 4 and the first cohort expected by next summer.
