MontanaFair at MetraPark in Billings is launching an electronic ticketing system that lets visitors use phones or self-serve kiosks instead of paper tickets for rides.
The fair opens today at 5 p.m. and will use the new Fun Tagg system to streamline ride access — keeping the fair excitement intact.
Billings teen Whitney Robinson launched Generations Forward MT to uplift Native youth through interviews with tribal business owners via the Montana State Tribal Tourism Grant.
Her initiative gives local youth an opportunity to see success and feel empowered.

Three feral domestic rabbits from Rocky Mountain College tested positive for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease 2 on Thursday morning and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks advised domestic rabbit owners to follow strict safety measures when handling carcasses (wearing gloves and disinfecting bags).

After a near-fatal accident three years ago, 75-year-old Montana rider Melody Bilden has returned to riding, now taking trail rides on her 16-year-old Haflinger (Annie) and remaining active in local equestrian events while also driving a school bus part-time.
