- ➤ The Shepard Volunteer Fire Department reported the Cabin Creek fire at 5:22 p.m. today in an area that had seen earlier fires—county officials dispatched brush trucks, water tenders and two aircraft at 6:32 p.m. to assist. KULR8

- ➤ Billings Public Schools is training teachers to use artificial intelligence—tools like School AI, Magic School AI, Brisk Teaching and Diffit—to plan lessons and monitor student progress, aiming to ease teacher burnout. Instructional technology coach Sarah Rainey said the new methods will help educators meet the diverse needs of students. KTVQ

- ➤ Firefighters in Bighorn Canyon NRA reported that the Dryhead Fire remains at about 214 acres with 50% containment and minimal growth—boating in Dryhead Canyon is closed while crews patrol and build containment lines today, with smoke expected in low areas this evening. The team will scout the fire below the canyon rim from the water as heat persists in steep, inaccessible terrain. KULR8
