During National Park Week and the National Park Service's 110th birthday, visitors in Gardiner shared their love for Yellowstone's wildlife and scenic views.

At the Greater Northwest Rail Summit in Helena this week, transportation leaders and local officials discussed plans to restore the old Hiawatha route, which would eventually connect Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Helena, and Missoula by the 2030s while waiting on a federal policy review (which is currently paused).

A five-member Montana Army National Guard crew landed at Helena Aviation Readiness Center after a 15-day mission fighting the Sinlahekin Fire in Wenatchee.

They flew 40 hours and dropped nearly 90 buckets of water—actions that helped control the wildfire while keeping resources ready for Montana.
