Billings organizer Shawn Wilson launched Montana Music Ship to collect and preserve local music as paperwork is underway + he invites experienced volunteers to join the nonprofit board.

Billings Public Works has grown its Facebook audience by using humor and a conversational tone that makes city services more accessible (project coordinator Xiaoyi Wang said the page increased by about 10,000 followers to now serve over 16,000 locals).

Billings celebrated the new Sam McDonald Stadium at Daylis on Saturday with a parade as public school students and staff attended the dedication of the nearly $15M facility — featuring upgraded turf, 10 track lanes, and four locker rooms — that replaces the historic stadium.
