On Saturday, thousands of residents attended the 21st annual Burn the Point classic car show at Henry’s Garage and all $5 fees were donated to the Chase Hawks Memorial Association crisis fund—supporting those in need from south central Montana and northern Wyoming.

Eighteen Boise Cascade workers in Billings have been on strike since July 29 under the support of Teamsters Union Local 190 to demand higher wages and better work conditions.

The union will meet with company leaders on September 5—workers hope for a quick end to the protest even if discussions may last for months.
