MSU-Billings launched a pilot Crow language class in early September for full-time and dual-enrollment students as well as community members to help preserve Native American culture—students have learned basic Crow greetings and the meaning of their names.
Teacher Lisa Stevens, who grew up speaking Crow, said the course may become permanent if enough students show interest.
