The Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter remains closed as staff work on cleanup after an incinerator malfunction.

It was tested on Thursday for contamination and results are expected today or tomorrow—if tests show the building is unsafe, decontamination could take up to four weeks as foster families care for the animals.
