Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter said it could not house stray or lost pets due to a recent drug incineration mishap that rendered its facility uninhabitable—forcing staff to relocate animals to foster care—and Animal Control is now only responding to calls for vicious animals.
The shelter urged residents to microchip and tag their pets while it seeks donations to build a new facility.
A Billings-based nonprofit held a run on Saturday morning at Josephine Crossing (5k and 10k distances) to raise funds for sex trafficking survivors.
