- ➤ Lem Robinson built a memorial on Highway 3 for his daughter Savanah Rose who died on May 26, and officials have given him until Oct. 17 to remove it for violating permit codes and posing a distraction for drivers—MDT later said the site is not hazardous while airport officials still insist on its removal. - ➤ The USDA has stopped issuing reports on household food security — this change has alarmed local food banks that rely on the data to track hunger. Kiera Condon from the Montana Food Bank Network said the missing reports make it hard to adjust programs as federal SNAP funding changes take effect. KULR8

- ➤ A coalition of local mental health providers released a gap analysis report on a proposed forensic mental health facility in Yellowstone County—citing workforce shortages, limited step-down care, and crisis pressures that must be fixed for the facility to work well.
