The Billings Family YMCA will host its second annual Trunk or Treat event on October 24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Transwestern parking lot at the corner of 32nd and Sixth Street—community organizations, businesses, and staff are invited to join in by decorating trunks and handing out goodies to local kids.

Twelve dogs won the Pups for Public Lands photo contest run by the Montana Conservation Voters Education Fund—winners will be featured in a 2026 calendar and receive prizes from local retailers to promote respectful outdoor activities.

Billings Clinic is giving free adaptive Halloween costumes to children with disabilities for the third year—costumes are made for kids who use wheelchairs, feeding tubes, or have sensory needs.
