The Montana Lottery sold all 620,000 Montana Millionaire tickets in just over six hours when sales began at 5:30 a.m. on November 1—adding 120,000 extra tickets and a fifth million-dollar prize.
The grand prize drawing is set for December 26—after last year’s tickets sold out in less than three hours.

Saturday morning, Montana Millionaire lottery tickets went on sale in Billings—drawing long lines at local stores and selling out with 620,000 tickets bought across the state.
The lottery offers five $1 million prizes plus other instant-win options, and grand prize winners will be announced on December 26.

A nationwide nonprofit is seeking more therapy dogs as its only Montana therapy dog—an 11-year-old golden doodle named Maggie who has comforted people in crisis for six years, including during a Yellowstone incident last year—nears retirement.
The organization will hold assessments and training in Bozeman in June and recently educated first responders at a Billings EMS symposium.
