Billings Public Library is hosting two charitable drives—one to collect new pajamas for kids and teens in foster care and one to gather socks, gloves and hand warmers for the community in Yellowstone County; donors can drop off items at library return bins to help bring warmth this holiday season.
Hundreds gathered last weekend in Billings for the third annual Billings Powwow that celebrated tradition and honored loved ones + preserved Native American culture.
Big Wind Windy Boy, the event’s chairman, said the powwow is planned to be a permanent November event that welcomes everyone.
