- ➤ Volunteers at Montana Rescue Mission in downtown Billings are preparing to serve 450 guests a full Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday at noon for residents and at 1:30 for the community—15 volunteers work from Sunday through Wednesday and 40 will serve on the day—by cooking turkeys and sides like mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, croissants and pie. - ➤ Two hundred years ago, Apsáalooke leaders met with U.S. Army officers to sign a treaty—known as the 'friendship' treaty—that has shaped the community's history. Today, residents reflect on the pact's impact and honor its legacy as part of their shared heritage. Billings Gazette
