  • After the death of Jan Ballensky, her family is honoring her memory by donating over 300 teddy bears that she collected over decades — over 50 bears have been delivered to Head Start in Miles City and more will soon go to charities in Billings and be showcased at Billings Animal Family Hospital with a planned annual bear drive on her birthday.  KTVQ
  • The Montana Rescue Mission activated its Code Blue status today due to extreme cold and now shelters 105 people—officials say this step protects vulnerable residents.  Billings Gazette

  • A new pop-up craft market is open at the former Big Lots on Main Street in Billings through December 23, offering handmade gifts and home decor from local and out-of-state artisans. Organizers said the market will boost holiday sales and support the Adaptive Performance Center—raising funds through donated gift certificates and raffles.  KULR8
  • Billings tow truck drivers have been busy since the winter storm hit Friday—hazardous road conditions led to nonstop work and increased calls, while JH Motors driver Christian Kinnison said his crew was well prepared and will remain ready for more challenges as the storm continues.   KTVQ
