- ➤ Project Christmas Miracle in Billings is finishing its sixth holiday season as volunteers assemble fully decorated tree kits including ornaments, tree skirts, and stockings to bring Christmas joy to families in need. The nonprofit has helped more than 350 families since 2020 and plans to expand its reach statewide. KULR8
- ➤ Billings Heights hosts a pop-up holiday market at the former Big Lots building (1515 Main St), where about 30 local vendors showcase handmade goods through Dec. 23. Organizers plan to expand to 50 vendors later this month to support local businesses amid rising costs. KTVQ

- ➤ Montana Cross Community Reconciliation celebrated seven years on Saturday with a peace-building seminar featuring speakers like Billings Mayor Bill Cole at the Community Leadership and Development building (24 So. 29th St), where the self-funded project offers free monthly dialogue sessions to foster cultural understanding. - ➤ The Bureau of Land Management launched its One Dollar, One Tree program to help local families purchase Christmas tree and firewood permits for $1 until January 31. Permits are available in person at selected field offices to support wildfire prevention. KULR8

- ➤ Billings' first all-girls high school hockey team is making history at Centennial Ice Rink by boosting girls hockey and raising funds for a new girls locker room that will open next year. KULR8
- ➤ Red Lodge Mountain welcomed over 1,000 skiers on Saturday after a delayed opening and improved its slopes by pumping water from the Grizzly Peak pond for snow making — more snow guns will be added soon to keep the seven open runs in service through the week despite forecasted warm temperatures.
