- ➤ Billings Public Schools is considering a high school bond to fund overdue maintenance and safety upgrades - voters have rejected similar measures in the past. Billings Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Billings residents will face water shutoffs beginning Jan. 12 as city officials move to disconnect the 300 largest delinquent accounts from a $3.5 million debt + roughly 70 residents are pursuing legal action over the ongoing dispute. KTVQ

- ➤ More than 77,000 Montanans enrolled on HealthCare.gov in 2025, with nearly 69,000 receiving cost assistance, and many will see higher premiums if enhanced ACA tax credits expire Jan. 1 — lawmakers are still debating proposals to ease the increases. KTVQ
