  • Billings Community Christmas Tree is a symbol of unity and compassion in Billings. Placed at the corner of Division Street & First Avenue North in 1930 by the Billings Garden Club, the tree remains a bright, cherished gathering spot visible from St. Vincent Hospital school during the holidays.  KULR8
  • Dyann Romeijn has taken charge as the new executive director at Montana Rescue Mission to rebuild trust after recent leadership changes; she will work with community partners and staff to serve the shelter with gift distributions and an open meal on Christmas Day (offering support to those in need).  KULR8

CULTURE NEWS

  • Billings’ 1950s Wonderland amusement park (run by Don and Stella Foote) offered families a summer destination with rides, a museum, a zoo and a race track along US 10. Visitors recalled Bozo the Columbia clown’s visit and fishing in a lake with a train that traveled through tunnels.  KULR8
  • Billings’ Christmas Wreath Lane has spread holiday cheer for 65 years by transforming wreaths on Avenue D between the 1700 and 2100 blocks into festive displays. The tradition gives families (especially kids) a chance to slow down during the busy season.  KULR8
  • Holiday Nights at Zoo Montana faces ticket issues after a Facebook post warned that printed receipts from bidonbillings.com will not be accepted & buyers must visit the radio station to exchange them for official tickets.  KTVQ

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Billings airport reached a milestone with one million passengers in 2025 — air carriers added over 60,000 seats to the market, airport officials said.  Billings Gazette

  • Billings West High School celebrated its Unified Program’s success during the annual Unified PE assembly as it received the Distinguished Service Award from Special Olympics Montana — an honor that recognizes the school’s work promoting inclusion for special needs students.  KULR8
