Montana will raise its minimum wage from 10.55 to 10.85 per hour on January 1 while Washington increases from 16.66 to 17.13 and Oregon plans a wage rise in July.

These changes are part of a regional update set for 2026.

First-grade teacher Tegan Leffler was honored at Sandstone Elementary by the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools, Western Security Bank, and City Brew Coffee with a $500 grant + a $150 gift card as part of the One Class at a Time program recognizing her long-standing commitment to students and families.
