- ➤ Rocky Mountain College installed a custom-built ALSIM AL100i Flight Simulator in September 2025 to help train future pilots on campus near Billings, enhancing hands-on learning and preparing students for aviation careers. Billings Gazette

- ➤ The DEQ is taking public comment on the CHS Laurel project at a refinery near the Yellowstone River (520 feet away) to improve water treatment and reduce volatile organic compounds. Billings Gazette
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Two robots at Billings Clinic Hospital, Meryl Sweep and Dirt Reynolds, have raised cleanliness scores 10% in four months since their December arrival, cleaning up to 25,000 sqft of lobby floors. Staff say the robots let cleaning crews focus on patient care while the hospital evaluates more robot help. KTVQ
- ➤ Montana Agri-Women will hold their annual meeting at Billings Hotel and Convention Center on Saturday focused on mental health and suicide prevention for farmers and ranchers facing high suicide rates. Panelists including Maggie Howley and psychiatric nurse Patty Yoder will offer resources to break the culture of self-reliance. KTVQ
- ➤ Montana’s WIC program offers healthy food, breastfeeding education and referrals to health services through 33 agencies and 80 clinic sites spanning every county and 7 tribal reservations—more than 13,000 families are enrolled and eligible families may contact their local office to check eligibility.
