- ➤ Emergency crews rescued a man on Thursday evening after he was found injured on a gravel island in the Yellowstone River beneath the South Billings Boulevard Bridge. The fire department, sheriff’s office, and rescue team used a high-angle rope system—deployed at about 5:00 p.m.—to reach him and stabilize his injuries before transport. KULR8
- ➤ Billings firefighters rescued an injured man who was stuck on a gravel island below the South Billings Boulevard Bridge on the Yellowstone River last week — they dropped a rope from the bridge while paramedics and sheriff’s deputies came by boat and took him to the hospital. KTVQ

- ➤ Billings police are asking for help to find Taviah Holmes, a missing 12-year-old girl last seen at 6:37 p.m. Monday on the 2800 block of Minnesota Avenue — she wore jeans and a gray T-shirt and is believed to have entered a silver passenger car near Rimrock Mall. KTVQ

- ➤ The Billings Clinic Cancer Center hosted its annual barbecue for cancer survivors and their families at ZooMontana on Sunday evening as part of Cancer Survivor Month. Over 100 pounds of burgers were grilled and nearly 3,200 invitations were sent to offer survivors a chance to connect with care teams and each other outside the hospital. KTVQ
